Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Jeff took on the stones for the first time at The Gathering II and successfully added his name to the roll of honour. His lift was witnessed by the appointed judges for the event Steve Gardner, Steve Murray, Cameron Ford, Jamie Gorrian, his family and the large crowd of athletes & spectators in attendance.

Jeff returned with his son Corey in 2025 to join the ranks of the father & son lifters
